Welcome to Fantasia Yarns

Inspired by some of the amazing individual colours I was seeing, especially in socks, I decided to have a go at dyeing with natural dyes myself. Needless to say like everything fibre related it soon grew out of proportions and I was quickly dyeing much more than I could knit up myself. So Fantasia Yarns was born.

I am facinated with using natural dyes and the yarns you will find here have all been dyed exclusively with natural dyes. Due to the nature of this type of dyeing my yarns are individual colour ways and usually can not be repeated exactly.

Many of the colour ways are inspired by the colours seen in nature while out walking the dogs, or while visiting some of the amazing gardens we have around here.
